You may not be the fastest runner, the most experienced at Crossfit, or even the most flexible at yoga, but if you have pride in what you do and how you do it, you can hold your head up high when you complete your workout, knowing you did your best.
You can also have pride in who you are. With such terrible things happening right now in our own country, we, as Americans, need to have pride in ourselves. It doesn’t matter where you came from or where you are going, but believing in yourself, others and our country is important.
Catina and I wore our patriotic-themed Zayze leggings at a beautiful outdoor yoga class one perfect Sunday morning. Over 60 people came together at a local historic landmark for a morning of stretching, learning and peace on the grassy lawn under the trees. Even though everyone had different abilities (just as Catina and I do) we all came together and followed along as our instructor led us in Cobra, Down Dog and Mountain poses.
Even without the unique-themed prints from Zayze (and Catina felt like Captain America!), we are both extremely happy with the quality and durability. I had the Stars with a Touch of Stripes Capri and the Heart Window t-shirt; while Catina modeled the A Star is Born Capri and classic gray Zayze tank. We always get compliments on the interesting designs. Before yoga we met friends for a warm up run and passed a little girl on a bike. She noticed Catina’s outfit and called out as she rode along “I like your pants!”. Maybe she was picturing herself as Captain America.
We are proud to represent Zayze just as we are proud to celebrate our nation’s birth this July! Take pride in who you are, what you do and those in your circle of family and friends. Maybe trying a challenging yoga pose, running a personal best or just walking a few more steps each day to better your health is all you need to change your world.
